CBS-logoCommunity Bible Study is an interdenominational Bible study whose mission is “to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all” regardless of their background, education, church involvement, Biblical knowledge, ethnicity or economic status. The four-part study method that CBS uses includes: personal study, a core group discussion facilitated by a trained leader, a lecture covering the passage of Scripture and a written commentary that reviews and clarifies the passage.

New Covenant offers CBS classes for both Women and Men

Community Bible Study — Women

The Villages Women’s CBS classes are open to all women who are interested in learning about God’s Word and its personal application in today’s world. Classes are held at the New Covenant United Methodist Church every Monday from 3:00-5:00 p.m., September through April.

Community Bible Study — Men

The Villages Men’s CBS classes are open to all men interested in studying God’s  Word in an open and welcoming environment. CBS’s mission is “to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all” regardless of their background, education, church involvement, Biblical knowledge, ethnicity or economic status.  Classes are held at the New Covenant United Methodist Church every Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m., September through April.
