members. A “Love Offering” envelope

Fifth Sunday for the Florida
United Methodist Children’s Home
November is a month with five
Sundays and that means a love

place which has touched thousands of
children’s lives is now 100 years
old. A check written to New
Covenant UMC with Florida Children’s
Home on the memo line will be so
appreciated. A special Children’s
Home envelope will be placed in the
bulletin on November 30.

masters are needed for both. If you
are “trustworthy, loyal, helpful,
clean, brave, and reverent” and have
time to help, please contact Duane
Ricker at 232-0979. These young
boys are in need of leaders!

UMCOR School Bags
United
Methodist Committee on Relief is
busy with the devastation form the
tropical storms and hurricanes.
The school bags we have been cutting
and sewing are very important. The
New Covenant Men's Ministry fills
them with school supplies for needy
children. Our group has several
hundred bags ready to sew together,
but we need we sewers! Our UMCOR
team will take them to Louisiana
next March. If you or someone you
know
can help, please contact Lois Elliot
at 753-4946 for more information.
Christmas Wish Tree Help Needed
Christmas tags
are placed on a tree in the Narthex
with names and wishes of local
children. Volunteers are needed to
register the names of those who
select tags from
the tree. If you are available
to help with this ministry, please
contact Bob or Chris Wile at
430-0668.
November Fellowship Dinner

us for this unusual celebration of
grandchildren. Present your
grandkids’ photos at the Welcome
Desk in the Narthex (or call Al
Williamson at 751-5344) for a
running
slideshow to be shown at the
dinner. Learn songs you sang as a
child, exchange stories, and get
tips for Christian inspired gifts.
As usual, the “admission price” is
your favorite dish to share, serving
8–10 people. Please note that
beverages, dessert, and serving
