We are women of New Covenant who serve Christ by serving others through Women’s Ministry. At New Covenant United Methodist Church, we believe that faith development is a life-long process. We are committed to helping people grow in relationship with Jesus Christ.

We seek to be …

  • Connector.

  • Connector.

  • Connector.

Our symbol is the butterfly

…as we endeavor to reach out to one another and into our community. These characteristics are the WINGS that help us soar with Christ.

Activities, Events, and Programs

  • We celebrate at a monthly Gathering, open to all women in our church and broader community.
  • We have many small groups organized to study, give service, and socialize together.
  • We conduct an annual class, MOAMI (Moving On: Always Master Inspired) designed to help women walk together through changes. (For more information about MOAMI, please click here)
  • In addition, we provide periodic events and activities that serve to meet the needs of our “sisterhood” on a larger scale.
Monthly Gatherings

Our Gatherings are held monthly, September through May,

On the third Thursday of each month, we begin at 10 a.m. in the Worship Center at the Summerhill Campus for a Spirit-filled and fun program. Lunch (for a modest fee) follows the program. The program consists of devotions, music, hands on activities, skits, discussions, and other unique activities all tied to a theme that helps each woman progress on her faith journey. There is always a mission focus as well as we learn about ministries in our church, local communities, and “in the uttermost parts of the world.”

Connect Small Groups

We are a large congregation, but find that in a women’s small group, we can better connect, enrich our identities as children of God, and enjoy His love in our lives as we grow together as sisters in Christ. Our small groups are made up of five to twelve women who meet when, where, and how often the group chooses. Each group chooses how they will carry out their faith journey together – growing spiritually, building relationships, serving, and having fun together.

If you are interested in joining a small group or would like to know more, please visit the Welcome Center in the Narthex and complete a Connect Small Group card, or compete this contact form.
